A small series of original works on paper.
These are selected from drawings made in response to the landscape. Marks made with grass juice (from the fields I was standing in) meet ink and pencil.
A group of 7 pieces was exhibited as part of Beyond Edges at Roe Valley Arts Centre in Autumn 2021.
These are small vignettes, presented in bespoke frames. Click through for individual sizes.
I live in a wide valley patchworked by fields and bogs, defined by a network of hedges draped over the gentle sweep of drumlins. Over the past few years this agricultural landscape, bounded by the Garron Plateau to the east and Long Mountain to the west, has become the focus of my practice.
